For the last couple of weeks we have been learning about the rainforest. We have been doing a lot of work on it like, art, slides and much more.
Last week we did slides. Lily and I decided to do a slide together. We did our slides about what we can get from the rainforest and why we shouldn't cut it down.
Our first slides was about how its a home to many animals. The next slide is about what the rainforest gives us like, food, water cycle and medicine. Our last slides are about why we shouldn't cut down the rainforests and how they cut down trees in a area the size of a soccer field.

Level 1
We are in level 1 now! This is a new start for everyone. It feels different to not hand sanitiser as much and stay away from anyone's moist breath zone.
It has been so long we have been in level 4 from 26/3-27/4, level 3-28/3-13/5, level 2 14/5-8/6. I feel happy that it is level 1, so I can see all my friends and family and give them a big hug.
Since last night we are no longer in level 2. I am so Proud of New Zealand because we are the only country in the world that has no covid-19.(THANK YOU SO MUCH NEW ZEALAND)

picturing paragraphs
This week we were given a photo to describe and write a paragraph. We were given a sheet and on that sheet was 3 levels. Level 1, level 2 and level 3. You could write as if you were the seal, what you think is going to happen next or describing the seal in the picture. Here is my paragraph.
Far away in the icy water there was a little pup (seal). He was white and fluffy with big brown Daisy eyes. He stared into the Crystal Frozen water and looked deeper into the ocean. He seen a school of fish just swimming around. Now he really wanted to jump in.
My question to you is: Can you write a paragraph describing this photo ?
